Problem: It is necessary to control and promptly lead the pedestrian detachments protecting the territory, one or several stationary objects (inventory items) by bypassing them (on foot patrolling) in accordance with a predetermined route and schedule of movement. Protection is carried out both in open areas and indoors.

Solution: when patrolling such objects, the human factor plays a decisive role (dishonesty, reduced vigilance, fatigue of guards, collusion with the personnel of the protected object, etc.). Therefore, a service monitoring system was proposed using GPS / GSM / Bluetooth technologies, which made it possible to exclude the negative influence of any subjective factors. such a GPS security monitoring system cannot be influenced.

The security guards were given miniature devices programmed for certain routes – personal GPS trackers, and the Intechplus Company for Monitoring, Security and Safety of Moving Objects was taken as software. The tracker calculates its coordinates using a satellite positioning system (GPS) and sends them to the System’s server via the GSM channel. The monitoring system allows you to see in real time the location of guards with GPS trackers on a satellite map, which displays the terrain, the location of objects, as well as pre-programmed routes of guards with reference to time (route, checkpoints and the time of their passage). Also in the System, you can build reports for any period of time, for any tracker (guard), any route, etc. Control over the work of security guards and the System can be carried out, knowing the access password, from any device (PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone) connected to the Internet.

The following devices can be used as personal trackers for monitoring service in open areas: CarGo Unit, Teltonika TMT250, Teltonika GH5200, Queclink of various modifications and others that have a compatible data transfer protocol with the Wialon GPS platform (more than 200 types), as well as software trackers in the form of mobile applications for smartphones.

And to track guards in the premises, it is necessary to use only trackers that have a Bluetooth module (for example, Teltonika TMT250, Teltonika GH5200) in combination with BLE beacons (Bluetooth Low Energy 4.0 technology). These identification beacons transmit signals that are unique to each of them, and GPS trackers read and identify them. This information, together with the tracker location data, is transmitted to the Monitoring System server for analysis. Special software determines the location of all beacons (for example, marked checkpoints and / or people) based on the proximity to the nearest GPS tracker.

Identification beacons are fixed in the room in certain places (entrances / exits, doors, stairs, safes, shop windows, etc.) and are used as a unique location identifier. When a guard with a GPS tracker enters the transmission area of ​​the BLE beacon and reads its identification signal, the position of this guard is tracked with an accuracy of 1 m (depending on the settings). If the guard is patrolling both in the open area and indoors, he will be tracked with a GPS signal outside and with ID beacons inside.

Bluetooth communication features low cost, high energy efficiency and accuracy, operates independently of mains power, and has less interference. It is easy to install and integrate into premises of almost any size and shape, as well as into the existing Service Monitoring System using GPS trackers with Bluetooth. For example, Teltonika GPS trackers support up to 100 beacons at the same time, and each of them will work continuously, depending on the model, from 2 to 10 years on one battery, transmitting a signal over a distance of 500 m.

Features of innovation: The use of GPS / GSM / Bluetooth-technologies for monitoring the performance of the service when organizing physical security of an object in an open area and indoors allows you to get a simple, effective and reliable control system for guards and eliminate the negative influence of the human factor. Such a GPS security monitoring system in the long term also saves on wages and transport for experienced inspectors who are able to provide an equivalent control in terms of efficiency. An additional advantage of such a system is the ability of a security guard, if necessary, to transmit an alarm signal: in most personal trackers there is a "panic button" function. And the presence, for example, in the Teltonika TMT250 and Teltonika GH5200 trackers of the built-in accelerometer and gyroscope, allows them to be configured to transmit an alarm when the guard falls or in the absence of his movement for a long time (sleep at the post).
