Car security with GPS tracker Cargo Mini 2

Solution

Budget (but reliable) GPS tracker with remote jamming of a car engine, connected to the Center-A monitoring console of the Federation of Security Professionals of Ukraine, which can be combined with a standard car alarm. The Cargo Mini 2 GPS tracker is used as such a tracker, and the Wialon GPS platform is used as software.

Cargo Mini 2 is a compact GPS device for tracking vehicles. The tracker is designed to monitor cars, trucks, motorcycles, loaders. A miniature housing made of high quality plastic allows you to place a GPS tracker in any part of the car. It has low cost due to the lack of a built-in battery and RS-485 interface.

Operation

The Cargo Mini 2 tracker, when installed on a vehicle, is connected to its standard alarm, and if it is triggered, the signal via the GSM channel instantly goes to the monitoring console. The operator sees the car with alarm on the electronic map, as well as the mobile response groups of regional security companies closest to the Alarm.

He contacts the owner of the car (his proxies). When confirming the “Alarm”, the operator of the monitoring console remotely blocks the movement of the car and immediately transmits the relevant information by mobile phone to the regional security company, whose response group is closest to the “Alarm”. The operator, using the capabilities of the Wialon GPS platform, visualizes the location of the client’s car both at the remote workstation of the Wialon regional security company, whose response group went to the Alarm, and on the tablet of the departing group (if any). The operator of the monitoring console sends the so-called “Object card” (in pdf-format) to the tablet with information about the car, its driver, proxies, relevant documents on the right to drive this car, etc.
