Principle of operation of VIA Energy MINI UPS

The uninterruptible power supply is connected to a 220 volt outlet and converts the voltage into 12, 9 or 5 volts, which is used by most Wi-Fi routers and terminals. After the network voltage disappears, there is an automatic switch to backup power from the battery. Then, after the appearance of electricity, the system automatically switches to mains power and the battery is charged. Inside the uninterruptible power supply are 4 18650 batteries with a capacity of 2200 mAh each.

How many hours will the battery last?

It all depends on the consumption power. For example, if your router consumes 1 A (the most popular value), then you will have enough uninterrupted power for about 7 hours. If you have a total consumption of 2 A, then for 3-4 hours, respectively.
