System of IP video surveillance from 6 cameras for a cottage in Sumy

Installation at this facility was urgent, as the client was leaving and it was necessary to implement the project in a short time.

It was decided to use the following equipment, which was in stock:

• Hikvision DS 7608NI-K1 DVR – 1 pc.
• IP Dome Camera Hikvision DS-2CD1321-I (2.8 mm) – 1 pc.
• IP Dome Camera Hikvision DS-2CD1031-I (2.8 mm) – 5 pcs.
• 2 TB Hard Drive WD20PURZ – 1 pc
• POE switch Dahua DH-PFS3010-8ET-96 – 1 pc.
• Odescable KPP-VP (100) 4x2x0.51, UTP-cat.5E – 100 m.

At the time of installation, there were no branded brackets in the warehouse, and because of the time frame it was not possible to “order”. Therefore, it was decided to switch the cameras in brickwork. The necessary crowns were prepared. Following the rule “measure seven times – cut one”, a brick of the same manufacturer of the same type was taken for sampling, but, alas, it began to crumble. The choice was obvious – the old school. We decided to opt for OBO T40 boxes, as they are the cutest and most accurate. To improve the viewing angle and give aesthetics on the facades of the building, the cameras are placed as close to each other, on both sides of the box. With the camera at the end of the building, everything turned out to be much simpler and without a box, although it was necessary to disassemble a little metal file. Mounting the camera on the veranda was the easiest and took no more than 20 minutes.

The cameras were aligned during installation.
